I took this photo from the second story inside the conservatory — extreme humidity and condensation add drama. My nod to Impressionism, in an English setting!
Quite possibly my favorite spot in England. Abbotsbury Swannery is a sanctuary for more than 900 mute swans. A tranquil and magical place, far away from the madding crowd in Abbotsbury, Dorset, on the southern English coast.
Great Saint Bartholomew’s, an 11th century Norman church a few minutes’ walk north of St Paul’s Cathedral in London. I don’t think the letter box is quite that vintage, but found it stunning and memorable — classic Roman typography, patina and old brick.
